Why we started
Editors and creators sit on terabytes of footage they can barely search. The tools that promise to help usually mean uploading everything, paying per minute, and waiting. We wanted the opposite: search that runs where your media already lives, on your own device, for free.

Splayed is an early, free release for Apple Silicon, with Windows on the way. We are a small team shipping quickly and listening closely.
